Helmet M1, Fixed Loops, Complete, Captain, ST. CLAIR RUBBER CO. Liner

Genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet, front seam and fixed loops, manufactured by McCord -- no shell number visible. Original canvas chinstrap with steel buckle and hook. The outer surface of the shell retains most of its original paint; a Captain rank insignia has been welded on the front and covered with a layer of black paint.

Comes with its scarce liner of the 'low pressure' type manufactured by St. Clair Rubber Co. Cotton web suspension, OD-painted A washers (oxidized) and leather chinstrap. Yellow initials SC have been inked inside. A Captain rank insignia and a small ETO officer's bar have been painted in white, respectively on the front and at the rear.
