Genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet, front seam and fixed loops, manufactured by McCord, shell number 126C. Original first type canvas chinstrap with oxidized buckle and hook. Most of the original paint is still present on both the inner and outer surfaces.
Comes with its original liner, manufactured by Capac, retaining its khaki cotton web suspension and neckband (the latter being damaged), russet leather sweatband and blackened-brass A washers.
Nice homogeneous set, in quite good overall condition.
