Chinstrap, Leather, for Liner, Helmet, M1, DOT

Genuine US leather chinstrap for the M1 helmet liner.

This type, which was produced in the late 1940s, is similar to the one in use in the last stages of the war. Only mention DOT, visible at the back of the cam buckle rivet, distinguishes it from the latter.

Quite good, soft condition.
