Genuine WWII US Army M1 helmet liner of the synthetic resin-coated, compressed-fiber type manufactured by Capac.
Three decals adorn the outer surface: a Major rank insignia on the front, the 42nd Infantry Division insignia on the left side, and some unknown coat of arms on the right side.
Retains most of its OD 7 cotton suspension, as well as its blackened-brass A washers.
Good, worn condition.
