Genuine WWII US OD canvas strap designed to secure the patient to the litter. The straps featured two sprung metal clips attached to either end, and designed to fit around the poles of the litter. The strap was adjustable, and according to the Medical Supply Catalog of 1 March, 1944, for securing patient to litter, 4 were required per litter.

During amphibious landings, landing ships provided eight bunk straps per litter, metal pull type, to the Medical Department for landing operations. Bunk straps were used to secure patients to litters while being hoisted aboard.
