Pair of genuine WWII US Army M1938 leggings, markings illegible. The outer surface has been covered with a layer of white paint to improve camouflage in snowy environment.
Good, worn condition. Some rank, name and ASN, hardly legible, have been handwritten in each legging -- Pfc. William H. Norris 35257364.
William Henry Norris was born on June 18,1919 in Jasonville, Indiana and joined the US Army on February 10, 1942. He was discharged on September 25, 1945 as a Private First Class and passed away on October 24, 1995.
