Rare genuine WWII US Army flashlight baton, intended for being used by the Military Police and designed for regulating traffic.
This cylindrical flashlight is extended by a transparent cover adorned with small orange reflectors, visible from a distance of 380 yards. When the lamp is switched off, the reflectors are visible in the headlight beam from a distance of 160 yards. Two elements of this type of flashlight baton were found in the vicinity of Utah Beach in the 1980s.
