Genuine WWII US Army ski gaiters, intended for mountain troops. These short canvas leggings, featuring a leather strap, were to be worn with the ski-moutain boots in order to prevent snow from entering the top of the latter. Issued to the 10th Mountain Division and First Special Service Force.
This is the first type, made of light khaki canvas (OD 3), which was superseded by a darker tone (OD 7) in 1943. Manufactured by General Shoe Corp. Size: Medium.
