Nice pair of genuine WWII US Army flexible rubber sole and rubberized cotton uppers overshoes, closing by four spring-loaded hooks with flat buckles. Size 11.
This type was issued to the First Special Service Force in Italy and in the French Alps, prior to being widely worn by US troops in the Battle of the Bulge, which was fought in the appalling December 1944 / January 1945 winter conditions.
Very good overall condition and dated 1942.
