Great genuine WWII US Army fur-trimmed, reversible ski parka (khaki and white), made up of a double layer of water-repellent poplin, of the type introduced in 1942.
This model features wolf fur around the hood edge, three buttons and a drawstring at the collar, and two large side pockets with buttoned flaps.
Such parkas were issued to the First Special Service Force (FSSF) in 1943-1944, then to the First Airborne Task Force, and later to various Army units during the Battle of the Bulge in 1944-1945.
