Box, Shell, Mortar, 81mm, Italian, Camouflaged, Normandy

Interesting genuine WWII Italian ammunition box, intended for carrying three 81mm mortar shells. The inner structure is missing but the handles are still present.

Good, used condition. Found in Normandy; the light green camouflage paint indicate that the present box saw service with German forces. Hinges are in working order.
