Very nice genuine WWII US Army Signal Corps heavy duty canvas bag, intended for carrying the M-209-B converter.
In excellent overall condition, the present bag is complete with strap and M-210-A Message Book. Some personal details have been handwritten on the front pocket: W.F. Sanker 36574361 Mich.
Warren Francis Sanker was born on April 16, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan and joined the US Army on February 20, 1943. He was discharged on December 17, 1945 as a Private First Class and passed away on June 1st, 2010.
