€55.00

Genuine WWII US Army BC-721 'handie-talkie' cover plate, intended for taking place at the bottom of the transceiver.
Designed as a single-handed radio, this type, which was based on the BC-611 developed for the infantry, was designed for being used aboard Waco gliders and offered a short-range voice communication capability (1.2 mile) to small units -- company, squad, etc. Working with preset channels, it was powered by BA-37 and BA-38 dry batteries. Pulling out the telescopic antenna would turn the radio on.
Very good overall condition.
