Scarce genuine AIR FORCE magazine, August 1944 issue, on the front cover of which appears a portrait of Corporal Robert John Noody, Company F, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, with caption 'To Normandy by Air'.

This iconic photograph was taken in the evening of June 5, 1944 aboard the C-47 which was to take him to Normandy.

The present issue is complete (64 pages) and in good overall condition.
