Nice genuine WWII US Army khaki cotton winter combat helmet, of the second type lined with wool introduced in March 1942 (Stock No. 73-H-64425).
Though initially intended for armored crews, this hood was also worn by despatch riders and some infantrymen in cold weather conditions.
Complete and in excellent overall condition.
