Very nice genuine WWII US Army grouping, made up of an Enlisted Men's wool serge off-duty jacket and a 'Special' khaki flannel shirt, coming from T/5 Alex Leso's family.

The jacket retains its original insignia: US and Infantry collar disks, 69th Infantry Division shoulder sleeve insignia and Technician 5th Grade rank stripes. Label dated November 11, 1942, size 38R. Laundry numbers L1871 and S5183 have been written in the collar.

The standard issue flannel shirt also retains its 69th Infantry Division shoulder patch and Technician 5th Grade rank stripes. Size 15 1/2 x 33. Label dated January 4, 1943.

Great homogeneous set, in excellent overall condition.

Alex Simon Leso was born on February 18, 1909 in Cleveland, Ohio and joined the US Army on May 10, 1943 (ASN 35061871). He passed away on January 29, 2000.
