Genuine WWII US Army 'Special' HBT overshirt, featuring two buttons under the collar intended for attaching the antigas woolen hood.

This type, which features two buttoned-flap breast cargo pockets, was worn both as a combat jacket and as a utility jacket in the ETO, particularly in Normandy. 

The present jacket is in very good condition and retains all buttons and labels. Size 42R.
