Jacket, Field, M-1943, US Army, 1st type, Size 40R, Sergeant

Nice genuine WWII US Army M1943 cotton sateen four-pocket jacket with khaki lining. Sergeant rank insignias are originaly sewn. 

Featuring plastic buttons and gusseted cuffs, the new field jacket was massively issued in the ETO for the first time in late September 1944, on the occasion of Operation Market Garden.

Label is almost illegible. Size 40R.

In excellent overall condition, the present jacket is complete.
