Great genuine WWII US Army M-1941 'Arctic' jacket, based on the standard regulation field jacket but lengthened to cover the hips.
Featuring blanket lining and made in the same cotton twill as the other items in the winter range, this types features buckle and strap adjusters at the side of the waist and across the wrists.
Mostly issued to units deployed in the Aleutian Islands and other parts of Alaska, this jacket was also worn by troops fighting in the ETO -- particularly in the Ardennes.
Complete and in very good overall condition; the left sleeve retains an Airborne Command insignia.
