Interesting genuine WWII D42 axe, intended for being used by Allied aircrews to free themselves from crashed gliders and aircraft or to be used as a general survival tool.
The handle is coated with black hard rubber designed to provide protection from electric shocks if cutting through wires -- hence mention Tested 20.000 Volts. visible on the grip. Total length: 14.7in.
