Nice genuine WWII US Navy Rain Parka (Buckle Type), synthetic resin-coated cotton cloth, slip-on type. Complete with all original buckles in working order, hood and waist drawstrings, and cuff snap fasteners still present, this parka features mention U.S. Coast Guard stenciled at the back. 

Label is clearly legible: Navy Department Contract NOs NXs-14954 Large. Very good overall condition. One single tear, located in the lower part of the back, is worthy of note. Name Adams, K.W. has been stenciled inside twice.

Kenneth William Adams was born on July 11, 1914 in Indianapolis, Indiana and served in the US Coast Guard as a Seaman 1st Class. He passed away on October 4, 1970.
