Scarce genuine WWII US waterproof radio set, manufactured by Communication Company, Inc. Made under US Navy Contract Nxss-14439, this transmitting and receiving equipment was intially designed for the Paramarines but soon became popular with most branches of services in the Marine Corps.
The radio set is made up of the following parts:
- 1 watertight bakelite box containing the transceiver itself and the battery;
- 1 pair of headphones;
- 1 microphone with a switch button;
- 1 telescopic antenna.
Homogeneous set, in very good overall condition, complete with all wires.
