Container, Tin, Combat Dressings, US Navy Medical Department, Full

Scarce genuine WWII US Navy Medical Department tin container, intended for carrying various types of combat dressings. This type was seen in various D-Day pictures, both on the beach and aboard ships. Two of these boxes were carried in each Beach Pack, for instance. 

The present container is in full, unopened condition and retains all original contents:

- 10 x Bandage, gauze, compressed 2".
- 6 x Bandage, gauze, compressed 3".
- 12 x Bandage, triangular, compressed.
- 16 x Dressing, battle, large.
- 20 x Dressing, battle, small.
- 6 x Dressing, head, adjustable, compressed. 

Comes in its genuine paper kraft.
