Genuine WWII US first-aid pouch, bearing mention First Aid in black capital letters.

Distributed by Davis Emergency Equipment Co., Inc. in Newark, New Jersey.

Made in some ochre heavy duty canvas similar to the type used in the US Navy, the present pouch features two compartments fitted with a snap hook (in working order); the whole assembly then closes thanks to a single Lift-the-Dot fastener.

The first compartment contains four bandage compresses (Unit No. 101) and three triangular bandages (Unit No. 107); the second carries two shell wound packets, a tube of tannic acid ointment intended for burns (Unit No. 131-T), and ten ammonia inhalants. Each element retains its original cardboard box.

Great homogeneous set, complete and in good overall condition.
