Helmet, Armor, Type M4A2, USAAF

Scarce genuine WWII USAAF M4A2 armor helmet, made of canvas with a series of 5 curved manganese treated-steel strips; with its label. The chinstrap is still here but the metal ring is missing. 

The helmet was standardised under denomination M4A2 in 1944.
