

Scarce genuine WWII American seat pack, designed for carrying the Type C-2 one-man pneumatic life raft. Intended for the United States Army Air Forces aircrews, and particularly for fighter pilots flying over the Channel, this type was introduced circa 1944. Attached onto the parachute harness, this seat pack actually superseded the regular seat cushion. Inspired by the British K-Type used by the RAF.
In good overall condition. All snap fasteners are in working order, the two hooks used to fix it to the harness are missing.

The Code provides additional penalties, including the confiscation of the items used or intended for committing the offence.
