Nice genuine WWII USAAF Type A-4 Flying Suit of the type standardized on March 18, 1930.

Made in olive drab gabardine wool -- a very strong and durable material --, this type features a front zipper, an attached belt, one angled breast pocket, one patch pocket bleow the right knee, and one zipper for each cuff and ankle. 

Shoulder width: 18.5in.

Complete and in very good overall condition; all Conmar zippers are in working order.

Name Edw Mernone and ASN 13142441 have been written on the label sewn in the collar.

Edward Mernone was born on June 10, 1912 in New York City and joined the US Army Air Forces on August 2, 1943. He passed away on May 27, 1995.
