Genuine WWII USAAF leather and canvas briefcase, intended for carrying maps and other navigation accessories -- manuals, ruler, pencils, etc. It is fitted with a Conmar zipper (in working order), which runs around three sides so it can be laid flat for easier access to all of the compartments.

Mention Pilots Navigation Kit, Air Force, United States Army is clearly visible on the outer surface.
