Kit, First-Aid, Motor Vehicle, 24-Unit, 1st Model, 1942

Genuine WWII US Army motor vehicle first-aid kit, 24-Unit, 1st model, of the large type intended for large vehicles (troop transport), including tanks, half-tracks and other armoured vehicles.

The very first kits were not numbered, but adopted a specific numbering system from 1942. The evolution of this kit during the Second World War led to several numbering changes. At the start of the war, the number was changed from 97771 to a new number on 1 March 1944, item no. 9777100.

After the war, the kit was given the number 9-221-100.

All hinges are in working order. Instructions sheet is still present under the lid.
