Box, Cartridge, M2, Caliber .30, DENVER ORDNANCE PLANT

Scarce genuine WWII US ammunition box, intended for containing twenty M2 .30 caliber armor-piercing rounds for the M1 Rifle or Browning machine gun. This cartridge was used against lightly armored vehicles and protective shelters, and could be identified by its black bullet tip.
