Nice genuine WWII US M3 leather shoulder holster intended for the Colt M1911A1 Pistol, caliber .45 and manufactured by Enger-Kress.
Introduced for USAAF pilots in 1942, this type was subsequently used in most branches of the military and became particularly popular among airborne troops and armored crews.
Excellent overall condition; complete with original strap. The belt loop snap fastener and the Lift-the-Dot fastener of securing strap are both in working order.
Pistol is not included.
