Genuine WWII US M1905 bayonet for the M1 Garand rifle, of the standard long type produced by six manufacturers from April 1942 to May 1943: Wilde Drop Forge & Tool (WT), Utica Cutlery (UC), Union Fork & Hoe (UFH), Pal Blade Company (PAL), Oneida (OL) and American Fork & Hoe (AFH).
The present bayonet was manufactured by American Fork & Hoe in 1942 -- hallmarked AFH on ricasso. Complete with OD bakelite scabbard.
Homogeneous set in excellent overall condition.
