Rare genuine WWII USAAF ammunition pouch, which could accomodate 20-round magazines for the Thompson submachine gun.
Number 42B15007 visible at the back refers to USAAF Class 13 Equipment and indicates that the present pouch is not of the 'rigger-made' type.
This model was also used by airborne troops in 1942.
Good overall condition; some bent-wire hook has been added at the back to attach to the M1936 belt; snap fastener is in working order.
