Cover, Canteen, Mounted, M-1917, 1934

Genuine US Army M-1917 canteen cover, intended for carrying the standard regulation aluminium canteen and cup among mounted troops. 

The present cover is normaly worn with a leather strap and snap hook, the present canteen cover has a M-1910 hook sewn on back. 

Good worn condition, manufactured by Jeff. Q.M.D. in 1934.
