Scarce genuine WWI US Army M1917 bolo, manufactured by Springfield Armory and dated 1917. Blade length: 10in. This simplified version of the M1910 bolo was introduced at the end of the Great War.

Nice overall condition. Comes in its original canvas and leather scabbard dated 1918, featuring the M1910 type bent-wire hook. Without wood inner part. 

Nice homogeneous set.
