Canister, Mask, Gas, ARS 17, French, with cover

Genuine WWI French ARS 17 gas mask canister. Based on its German counterpart, the Appareil Respiratoire Spécial (Modèle 1917) was not massively issued to the Poilu before the spring of 1918.

In very good used condition, delivered with a blue wool hand-made cover. 

Nice homogeneous set.
